Configuring PTZ Connection Settings

Before you can control a PTZ camera with the DVR, you must configure the PTZ connection
settings.
To configure the PTZ connection settings
1. Go to Main Menu  Setting  System.
2. In the left navigation pane, click PTZ.

3. Configure the following settings:
Channel
•
Control Mode Select HQA.
•
Protocol
•
Address
•
Baudrate
•
Data Bits
•
Stop Bits
•
Parity
•
4. Click Apply, and then click Save to save your settings and exit.
Select the channel (camera) that you want to configure PTZ settings for.
Select the camera's PTZ control protocol from the list.
Enter the camera's address (ID).
Select a value between 1200 and 115200. The default setting is 9600.
Select a value between 5 and 8. The default setting is 8.
Select 1, 1.5, or 2. The default setting is 1.
Select None, Odd, Even, Mark, or Space.
