6.2 - Programming the pedestrian
(partial) opening width
This procedure allows to change the default pedestrian opening
gap.
Default opening settings:
- swing gates: Motor 1 fully open
- sliding gate: 30% of the total travel
To control the pedestrian opening, it is necessary to either
programme a radio control button (see Paragraph 5.2) or connect
a wired control device on the PED contact (see Paragraph 3.2).

Prior to proceeding with this programming procedure,
make sure that either basic programming or advance
programming of the gate travel have been completed.
1. CLOSE THE GATE FULLY
2. PRESS THE SET BUTTON FOR 2 SECONDS: the SET led
flashes (if not, consult Paragraph 17.1)
3. PRESS THE START BUTTON FOR 1 SECOND: the SET led
turns ON
4. THE GATE STARTS TO OPEN: the SET led stays ON
5. PRESS THE START BUTTON OR A PROGRAMMED
TRANSMITTER BUTTON: the SET led stays ON
6. THE GATE STOPS THE MANEUVER AND CLOSES FULLY:
the SET led turns OFF
7. END OF THE PROGRAMMING PROCEDURE: the LEDs
return to the normal operation configuration
6.3 - Advanced programming of the
gate travel
With this procedure, you will set the slow down points or remove
them completely.
1. PUT THE GATE LEAF/LEAVES TO TO ABOUT HALF WAY
POSITION
2. PRESS THE SET BUTTON FOR 2 SECONDS: the SET led
flashes (if not, consult Paragraph 17.1)
3. PRESS THE RADIO BUTTON FOR 1 SECOND: the SET led
turns ON in the fixed mode
4. THE GATE PARTIALLY OPENS: the SET led flashes
THE SYSTEMS PAUSES FOR APPROX 8 SECONDS (*)

THE GATE MOVES TO FULL CLOSING POSITION: the SET
6.
led stays ON
7. PRESS THE SET BUTTON OR A PROGRAMMED
TRANSMITTER BUTTON
8. THE GATE OPENS
9. PRESS THE SET BUTTON, OR A PROGRAMMED
TRANSMITTER BUTTON, TO SET THE SLOWDOWN START
POINT. TO CANCEL THE SLOWDOWN POINT, JUST WAIT
FOR THE GATE TO FINISH THE MANOUVER
10. THE GATE COMPLETES THE OPENING PHASE
11. PRESS THE SET BUTTON OR A PROGRAMMED
TRANSMITTER BUTTON
12. THE GATE CLOSES

13. DURING MOVEMENT: PRESS THE SET BUTTON OR A
PROGRAMMED TRANSMITTER BUTTON TO SET THE

14. THE GATE IS NOW FULLY CLOSED: the SET led turns OFF

With double hinged gate, the control unit will open
and close one leaf at a time.
m
After any POWER knob adjustment, the gate travel
learning must be reprogrammed.
m
If the operator does not recognise the mechanical
stops (end of the travel for swing gates) even with the
OBS knob set to its minimum, you can select the open and
closed points during programming by pressing the SET
button (or a programmed transmitter's button) at the end of
points 6, 9 and 13. In the event of two gate leaves, use the
SET button for both leaves.
(*) Procedure 1: REVERSING THE DIRECTION OF THE GATE
SECTION 1 (MOTOR 1) OPENING STROKE
1. PRESS THE RADIO BUTTON FOR 3 SECONDS: the SET led
flashes fast
2. LEAF 1 MOVES TO VERIFY THAT THE MOTOR OPENS: the
SET led flashes
3. THE CONTROL UNIT RETURNS TO STAND-BY MODE FOR
8 SECONDS (Point 5 of the programming sequence): the SET
led flashes
(*) Procedure 2: REVERSING THE DIRECTION OF THE GATE
SECTION 2 (MOTOR 2) OPENING STROKE
1. PRESS THE RADIO BUTTON FOR 3 SECONDS: the SET led
flashes fast
2. LEAF 2 MOVES TO VERIFY THAT THE MOTOR OPENS: the
SET led flashes
3. THE CONTROL UNIT RETURNS TO STAND-BY MODE FOR
