Troubleshooting - Hisense HMC8C86TOA User Manual

Before repair, check the following table to see if you can identify the cause of the fault.
If the fault persists after you follow the instructions, you can consider repair.
Symptom
No sound or image exists.
Screen display is normal but no
sound is generated.
Sound and image interference
exists.
The remote control malfunctions.
Horizontal/Vertical
image jitters occur.
The monitor housing generates
abnormal sound.

Troubleshooting

1. Check whether the power cable is connected to the
wall-mounted socket and whether the socket is powered on.
2. Check whether you have pressed the power button or the
Power button of the remote control.
3. Check the settings of the screen brightness and contrast ratio.
4. Check the volume.
5. Check the signal cable connection, or disconnect and reconnect
the signal cable. (Power off the equipment for this operation.
Do not disconnect and reconnect the signal in the power-on
state.)

2. Check whether the LCD monitor is muted.
1. Identify the interfering apparatus and move it away from the
LCD monitor.
2. Plug the LCD monitor power plug into another socket.

4. Check for any obstacle between the LCD monitor and remote
control.
5. Check whether the positive and negative electrodes of the
batteries are installed in the right direction.

monitor housing to expand or contract, thus generating sound. This
