Remove pinion gear from chain.

Remove flange bushings from pinion gear.
Install Flange Bushings
1.
Install flange bushings into pinion gear.
See Figure 68.
2.
Reinstall flat steel washer onto pinion shaft end.
3.
Reinstall pinion gear into chain and align with pinion
shaft.
4.
Position spacer bushing between pinion gear and
frame.
5.
Insert pinion shaft through pinion gear until it stops.

6.
Position spacer bushing against left side of frame and
reinstall one spring clip into pinion shaft.
7.
Position flat steel washer against pinion gear and
reinstall remaining spring clip into pinion shaft.
8.
Reinstall bottom cover to frame and secure with two
tapping screws and four hex bolts.
9.
Reinstall wheels and secure with snap clips.
