Rotate traction idler arm away from belt and rotate
swing gate assembly forward.

Remove belt.

Install Traction Drive Belt
See Figure 13.
1.
Install belt onto engine sheave and traction drive
pulley.
2.
Return swing gate assembly into upright position and
reinstall stop bolt.
3.
Reinstall traction idler spring onto traction idler arm.

3. Stop Bolt
4. Traction Idler Spring
4.
Reinstall brush. See Install Brush to Frame on page 8.
5.
Adjust traction drive clutch. Refer to Operator's
Manual for adjustment procedure.
6.
Reconnect spark plug wire.
IMPORTANT: Check all adjustments after first use.
