Position caster wheel perpendicular to drive wheel.
7.
Remove hardware securing caster wheel to caster
fork and remove wheel.
8.
Remove spacer from wheel.

Install Caster Wheel

1.
Install spacer into wheel.
2.
Align wheel in caster fork and secure with hex bolt and
locking nut, but DO NOT overtighten.
3.
With assistance from an adult helper, lift brush
attachment until notch in caster fork shaft is visible.
4.
Reinstall spacers onto caster fork shaft and slowly
return brush attachment to surface.
IMPORTANT: Caster fork shafts MUST have same spacer
distribution.
5.
Reinstall spacers to caster shaft top and secure with
lynch pin.

ENGINE REPLACEMENT

Remove Engine

NOTICE: Save all hardware for reinstallation.
1.
Turn engine switch to OFF position and wait for all
moving parts to stop and for hot parts to cool.
2.
Disconnect spark plug wire from engine.
3.
Drain gasoline from fuel system and tank. See
Draining Fuel System on page 7.
See Figure 60.
4.
Remove tapping screw securing left side of belt cover
to frame.
5.
Loosen, but DO NOT remove tapping screw securing
right side of belt cover to frame and remove belt cover.
6.
Remove brush lock cable from J-clamp on engine
mount.

7.
Remove hardware securing belt finger to engine and
remove belt finger. See Figure 3.
8.
Disconnect all wires from engine.
9.
Remove engine mounting hardware. See Figure 61.
