Install Brushes
See Figure 34.
IMPORTANT: Install brushes so alignment pins are
positioned around alternating brush core tubes.

Install nine brushes onto brush core.

IMPORTANT: Tighten hex bolts in an alternating pattern so
an even load is applied to brushes during installation.

Align end plate with brush core and secure to brush
core with three hex bolts.
3.
Reinstall bearing onto center shaft end, but DO NOT
tighten set screws.

Position brush assembly horizontal.
5.
Apply a light amount of anti-seize to gear shaft
splines. See Figure 36.
