ATTACHMENT DRIVE BELT
REPLACEMENT
Remove Attachment Drive Belts
NOTICE: Save all hardware for reinstallation.
1.
Turn engine switch to OFF position and wait for all
moving parts to stop and for hot parts to cool.
2.
Disconnect spark plug wire from engine.
3.
Separate brush from frame. See Separate Brush From
Frame on page 7.
4.
Remove attachment drive belts from attachment drive
pulley and discard. See Figure 10.
Install Attachment Drive Belts
1.
Install belts onto attachment drive pulley
2.
Reinstall brush attachment. See Install Brush to
Frame on page 8.
3.
Adjust attachment clutch. Refer to Operator's Manual
for adjustment procedure.
NOTICE: Check all adjustments after first use.
WARNING: AVOID INJURY. Brush must stop
within 5 seconds when attachment clutch lever is
released.

Remove Traction Drive Belt
NOTICE: Save all hardware for reinstallation.
1.
Turn engine switch to OFF position and wait for all
moving parts to stop and for hot parts to cool.
2.
Disconnect spark plug wire from engine.
3.
Remove brush attachment. See Separate Brush From
Frame on page 7.
See Figure 11.
4.
Disconnect idler spring from traction idler arm.
5.
Remove stop bolt from frame.
