Testing your wireless and network connection

You can verify that uploading data to the LogTag
initiating a
Connection Test
During the connection test the logger will
 
connect to your wireless network using the network name and password you entered
l
during the setup with the LogTag
 
connect to the LogTag
l
 
exchange a pre-defined set of messages with the cloud server that verify the device's
l
identity
 
request any information from the server such as the current time
l
 
upload any new temperature and event data that have been recorded since the last
l
connection to the cloud server
 
close the connection
l
This will give you immediate feedback if the logger's wireless and network settings were
configured correctly.
To initiate the connection test, press and hold the
and
buttons simultaneously for
REVIEW
/MARK
approx. 6 seconds. During this time the Upload
arrow symbol ( ) on the display blinks.
Release the buttons when the symbol stops blinking
and turns on permanently.
The UTREL30-WiFi will now attempt to access the
wireless network (the WLAN symbol shows an
empty circle).
This process is typically very short, so you may not
see this screen.
