Physical Description

The touch sensitive viewing screen is located on the front of the touchpanel. The
TPMC-15's 15-inch (38.1 cm) screen has a 4:3 aspect ratio while the TPMC-17's
17-inch (43.2 cm) screen has a 15:9 widescreen aspect ratio. The electronic hardware
is housed in a metal enclosure with a molded plastic bezel that is available in a
variety of colors such as black with silver accent (as shown in the following
diagram) or white with gray accent. This touchpanel is designed for placement in a
wall or lectern. A voltage monitor with two LEDs on the rear of the touchpanel
monitors the incoming voltage level that is supplied to the touchpanel from the
TPMC-L-IMC. All audio, RS-232, audio/video, network, and power connections are
made at the bottom of the touchpanel. A grille located below the display conceals
two speakers and the microphone is located at the top of the touchscreen.
Five pushbuttons are located beneath the display. The leftmost button is recessed and
is a hard reset used to reboot the touchpanel. Four of the buttons are programmable.
