Annotations and notes (without video freeze) can be saved to a file on the network or
a USB drive for later review.
Embedded PC Applications
With a host of embedded applications, the TPMC-15 and TPMC-17 series provides a
truly integrated digital media asset management solution. Applications include:
MS Internet Explorer
Windows Media
MS WordPad
NetMeeting
Remote Desktop
Viewers: Word, PowerPoint
Future PC applications and features may be added, as they become available,
through Crestron updates.
PC Card Memory and USB
The TPMC-15/TPMC-17 feature two built-in PCMCIA slots that allow memory
expansion to 4 GB. Two built-in USB ports can be used to connect to mass storage
devices or other USB peripherals. Program loading can be accomplished via any
mass storage device or through Compact Flash.
A USB drive (connected to one of the USB ports) or a PCMCIA Flash Card adaptor
card and flash memory card can be used for the Word, Excel, and other files that can
be read by the embedded applications. The flash card can also be used to save the
MediaMarker presentations created with the TPMC-15 or TPMC-17.
NOTE: USB devices requiring custom drivers are not supported.
Connectivity
The TPMC-15 and TPMC-17 feature Cresnet and high-speed Ethernet ports for
seamless communication with Crestron control systems, computers, digital media
servers, and other IP-based devices. Additional memory can be easily added through
the two PCMCIA card slots. Two USB ports enable the connection of an optional
mouse or keyboard as well as USB drives, CD ROM drives, or memory devices.
