OTHER SERVICE FUNCTIONS

2.1

Displaying the Firmware Version

Touch panel model
(1) When the machine is on standby, hold down the [Home] key for approx. 5 seconds.
The following screen will be displayed on the LCD.
The firmware version displays in the "2. ROM Version" area.
Rubber key panel model
(1) When the machine is on standby, press the [*] and [#] keys at the same time.
The firmware version appears on the LCD.
2.2

Moving the Head/Carriage Unit

Touch panel model
(1) Hold down the [X] key with the document scanner unit opened for 5 seconds or more.
The head/carriage unit moves to the center of its travel.
Rubber key panel model
(1) Hold down the [Stop] key with the document scanner unit opened for 5 seconds or more.
The head/carriage unit moves to the center of its travel.
