Detailed Description of Maintenance-mode Functions

1.3.1 EEPROM Parameter Initialization (Maintenance mode 01, 91)

<Function>
This function initializes the parameters, user switches and worker switches settings registered in the
EEPROM, to the initial values. Entering Maintenance mode 01 initializes almost all of the
EEPROM areas. Entering Maintenance mode 91 does not initialize some areas, as listed below.

<Operating Procedure>
(1) Press the [0] and [1] keys in this order in the initial stage of the maintenance mode. (Or press
the [9] and [1] keys in this order according to your need.) "SELECT 01?" (or "SELECT 91?")
appears on the LCD.
(2) Press the [Mono Start] key.
"PARAMETER INIT" appears on the LCD.
(3) Upon completion of parameter initialization, the machine returns to the initial stage of the

maintenance mode.

Maintenance code
All of these will be
initialized.
Note that the first digit of the 4-digit code will be initialized to
"0". If the code is 1001, for example, it will be initialized to
"0001".
