- Remove the jammed recording paper from the engine part.

Cause
Remove foreign materials.
Clean the CR encoder strip.
Reattach the CR encoder strip.
Reattach the CR timing belt.
Reattach the leveler roller ASSY to the head/
carriage unit.
Reattach the ink tube.
Reattach the head cover.
Reconnect the carriage motor harness.
Reconnect the carriage flat cable.
Reattach the maintenance unit.
Replace the CR encoder strip.
Replace the CR timing belt.
Replace the carriage motor.
Replace the carriage PCB ASSY.
Replace the main PCB ASSY.
