9. Repeat step 6 to 8 a few times.
10. Install the radiator drain plug and new
gasket, tighten it securely.
11. Slowly pour proper amount of coolant
(ethylene glycol based anti-freeze solution)
into the radiator and reserve tank. Pour
proper amount of clean soft water into the
radiator until it is full.
Pour the clean soft water into the reserve
tank to the "F (full)" line.
12. Close the radiator and reserve tank caps
securely.
13. Run the engine for several minutes and
stop it. Allow the engine to cool.
14. Carefully remove the radiator cap and
check the coolant level. If necessary, add
the clean soft water to the radiator.
15. Install the radiator cap tightly.
16. Warm up the engine to normal operating
temperature.
Check if any coolant is leaking from the
drain plug.
Any leak indicates improper installation
of the radiator drain plug.
17. After driving for a short while, check the
coolant level. If the coolant has decreased,
add coolant with a proper mixing ratio to
the "F (full)" line in the reserve tank.

Be careful not to burn yourself with
hot engine components and radiator.
Turn the engine off and inspect the drive belt
for cracks, excessive wear or oiliness.
Have any damaged belt replaced by an
authorized Perodua Service Centre.
Push the belt k and measure the deflection.

Air filter cleaning and replacement

You can clean the air filter with compressed air.
Apply compressed air only from the clean
HPS pump
pulley
side of the air filter.
Replace the air filter, if necessary.
If the vehicle has been driven mainly in
dusty areas, clean the air filter at intervals
of 5,000 km.
Wipe the air filter case and seat with a soft
cloth to remove dirt or dust.
CAUTIOR

Do not drive with the air cleaner element
removed. Failure to observe this will
cause excessive engine wear.
Do not oil the element. It may reduce
the effectiveness of the element.
