9. Loosen and remove the Phillips screws (two located on the front side of the chassis), that secure the top access
cover to the chassis. Retain the screws for later use.

10. Slightly slide the top access cover forward to disengage it from the chassis. Some pressure may be required.

11. Lift the top access cover up.
12. Now you have access to the internal M.2 Key B, M.2 Key E and Micro SIM card cage slots / sockets respectively in
order to remove or install hardware components.
13. For closing replace carefully the top access cover to the system and screw it on with the retained screws.
14. Tighten the retained screws when the cover is firmly in place.
When used as intended, the KBox F-420-WLU is to operate only in closed condition.
Only when the access covers are properly fixed with the screws and the rear side with
WLAN and / or WWAN antenna(s) are properly installed and secured with the screws, it
is ensured that the user does not have access to the internal parts of the KBox F-420-
WLU.

5.1.1. Installing SO-DIMM Memory Module(s)

To install memory module(s) please proceed according to the steps described:
1. Open the device as described in the subsection 5.1 "Opening and Closing the Chassis" (step 1 - 5).
2. Locate the SO-DIMM memory sockets (DIMM1 & DIMM2) (Figure 6, pos. 1).
