    4.4.3. Micro SIM Card Cage The baseboard of the KBox F-420-WLU is equipped with a Micro SIM card cage, which is used to host a micro SIM card to access a WWAN network for data communication. The cage is connected to the M.2 Key B socket. An additional M.2 WWAN module as well as antenna(s) is reqired.

    KBox F-420-WLU - User Guide, Rev. 1.0 5/ Accessing Internal Components This section contains important information that you must read before accessing the internal components. You must follow these procedures properly when installing, removing or handling any board. It is recommended to expand your system with applicable expansion card(s) before it is installed into an equipment, machine or cabinet.

Insert the SO-DIMM memory module into the corresponding socket at a 30-degree angle. 5. Rotate the SO-DIMM memory module down until it snaps into place and the levers close.

    There are ventilation slots located on the right, left and top sides of the KBox F-420- WLU. They provides heat dissipation during operation. To provide sufficient heat dissipation for the cooling of the KBox F-420-WLU, never cover the ventilation slots of the chassis. Do not place any objects on the device.

    Refer also to section 10.1.2 ‘‘Mechanical Specifications’’. The KBox F-420-WLU must be firmly attached to a clean flat and solid mounting surface. Use proper fastening materials suitable for the mounting surface. Ensure that the mounting surface type and the used mounting solution safely support the load of the KBox F-420-WLU and the attached components.

Engage them together (Figure 15). Push down the spring cushion (Figure 11, pos. 4) on the mounting bracket until the KBox F-420-WLU can be completely placed on the spring cushion (Figure 15).

    The Security setup menu provides information about the passwords and functions for specifying the security settings. The passwords are case-sensitive. The KBox F-420-WLU provides no factory-set passwords. If there is already a password installed, the system asks for this first. To clear a password, simply enter nothing and acknowledge by pressing <RETURN>.
