Hold the cartridge handle, then
slightly lower the staple
cartridge and lift it up.

Open the staple cartridge cover
and remove the jammed staple.
CAUTION
When removing the staple, be careful not to injure
your fingers.

Hold the cartridge handle, and
install the staple cartridge to its
original position in the booklet
unit.
Be sure to install the staple cartridge to the position
aligned with the
46
mark of the booklet unit.

Return the booklet unit to its
original position.

Close the cover.

Stapler Jams (Face Down Finisher)

If a staple becomes jammed inside the machine,
follow the procedure below to remove the staple.

Open the staple cover.

Hold the handle of the staple
cartridge, and pull it toward you.
