Stapler Jams (Multifunction finisher)

If a staple becomes jammed inside the machine,
follow the procedure below to remove the staple.

Case of the R1 staple cartridge

Open the cover.

Hold the handle of the staple
cartridge, and pull it toward you.

Open the staple cartridge cover
and remove the jammed staple.
CAUTION
When removing the staple, be careful not to injure
your fingers.

Return the staple cartridge to its
original position.
Push the staple cartridge in until it clicks.

Close the cover.

Case of the R2 or R3 staple cartridge

Open the cover.

Pull the booklet unit out toward
the front.
