Open the staple cartridge cover,
and remove the jammed staple.
CAUTION
Be careful not to injure your fingers when removing
the staple.

Return the staple cartridge to its
original position.

Close the staple cover.

The staple case has fallen out
(Multifunction finisher)
If the staple case has fallen out of the cartridge
caused by unintentional operation such as the
dropping of cartridge, follow the procedure below
to fix the problem.

• If the staple case has been separated out of the
cartridge, also fix the problem as shown below.

Open the staple cartridge cover
and remove the jammed staple.
CAUTION
When removing the staple, be careful not to injure
your fingers.

Push the lever on the rear of the
cartridge in the direction of the
arrow.
CAUTION
When pushing the lever, be careful not to injure
your nails and fingers.

Push the lever until it stops, and
then remove the staple case
from the cartridge facing up.
