4.3.7 DC Current Calibration
Connect the OUTPUT terminal of the Sentry Plus Series instrument to a resistance box or
resistance standard. Connect an AC/DC current meter in series between the resistance load
(box/standard) and the RTN/LOW terminal of the Sentry Plus instrument.
Press [F1] = UP to go to
Press [STOP] to return instrument to steady state.
Press [START] to get offset value.
Press [F1] = INC or [F2] = DEC until the SPlus display reads the same as the current meter.
Press [ENTER] to accept reading.
Sentry Plus reverts to "DCA 3mA Offset" display (incorporating the new cal value).
Press [F1] = UP to go to
Press [STOP] to return instrument to steady state.
Press [START] to get full value.
Press [F1] = INC or [F2] = DEC until the SPlus display reads the same as the current meter.
Press [ENTER] to accept reading.
Sentry Plus reverts to "DCA 3mA Full" display (incorporating the new cal value).
Press [F1] = UP to go to
Press [STOP] to return instrument to steady state.
Press [START] to get offset value.
Press [F1] = INC or [F2] = DEC until the SPlus display reads the same as the current meter.
Press [ENTER] to accept reading.
Sentry Plus reverts to "DCA 15mA Offset" display (incorporating the new cal value).
Press [F1] = UP to go to
Press [STOP] to return instrument to steady state.

Press [ENTER] to accept reading.
Sentry Plus reverts to "DCA 15mA Full" display (incorporating the new cal value).
