4.5 MOUNTING THE SPRING

The balancing of the barrier requires:
- installing of the turnbuckle in the appropriate
position
- installing of the appropriate spring: single or
double
- manual adjustment of the turnbuckle

- Carry out the work with the power supply di-
sconnected.
- The spring appropriate for the length of the arm is
defined in the balancing table (see  2). Follow
the indication of the table to identify the holes for
hooking the spring to the rocker arm and the base.
- The accessories on the arm must be considered
when choosing the balancing spring (single or
double). In case of addition or elimination of the
accessories at a later time, it might be necessary to
change the spring.

TURNBUCKLE

This operation requires the release of the barrier.
- Keep away from the moving elements inside the
box.
- Do not leave the arm vertical when the barrier
is unlocked.
1. Release the barrier using the manual release key.
2. (21) Lift the arm completely vertical.
3. Relock the barrier.
4. (22) Align the bushing 1 and the turnbuckle
2 with the appropriate hole (see  2). Fix in
position with screw 3, adding the supplied washer.

Use the torque wrench to tighten to the torque shown
in the figure.
