Safety
DANGER!
Maintain a clean and clear path for all necessary movement
around the planer and lumber stacking areas. Failure to follow this will
result in serious injury or death.
IMPORTANT!
Always properly dispose of all planing by-products,
including sawdust and other debris, coolant, oil, fuel, oil filters and fuel
filters.
WARNING!
Do not set up the Planer on ground with more than a 10
degree incline. If setup on an incline is necessary, put blocks under
one side of the Planer or dig out areas for the legs to keep Planer level.
Setting up the Planer on an incline could cause it to tip over. Failure to
follow this will result in serious injury or death.
DANGER!
Make sure all guards and covers are in place and secured
before operating the Planer. Failure to follow this will result in serious
injury or death.
Be sure the cutter housing and pul-
ley covers are in place and secure.
DANGER!
Keep all persons out of
the path of moving equipment and
slabs when operating Planer or load-
ing and turning slabs. Failure to fol-
low this will result in serious injury or death.
DANGER!
Always be sure the cutter is disengaged and all persons are
out of the path of the cutter before starting the motor. Failure to follow
this will result in serious injury or death.
DANGER!
Always disengage the cutter and shut off the Planer motor
before changing the cutter. Failure to follow this will result in serious
injury or death.
