Push the handle (2 and 7) onto the post (arrow) of
N
clamp (17 and 18).
Insert and tighten down the screws (8b) firmly.

Removing the Clamp

Preparations, @ 3.1.
N
Remove the control handle, @ 15.2.
N
Take out the screw (14).
N
Remove the locking lever (16) together with the pivot
N
pin (15).
Pull the pivot pin (15) out of the locking lever (16).

Separate clamp (18) from clamp (17) and take it off
N
the blower tube.
Remove clamp (17).
N

Installing the Clamp

Position clamp (17) against the blower tube.
N
Position clamp (18) against the blower tube and hook
N
it to clamp (17).
Insert pivot pin (15) in the locking lever (16).
N
Place the locking lever (16) with pivot pin (15) in the
N
clamp (17) so that the holes in the pivot pin (15) and
clamp (17) line up.
Insert and tighten down the screw (14).

Install the control handle, @ 15.3.
N

Removing the Throttle Cable

Preparations, @ 3.1.
N
Remove the control handle, @ 15.2.
N
Detach the sleeve (13).
N
Pull the sleeve (13) off the throttle cable (12).
N
Remove wiring harness from engine, @ 8.2.
N
Disconnect throttle cable from carburetor, @ 8.2.
N
Remove short circuit wire, ground wire and diagnostic
N
socket from the engine, @ 14.2.

Installing the Throttle Cable

Fit short circuit wire, ground wire and diagnostic
N
socket on the engine, @ 14.3.
Connect throttle cable to carburetor, @ 8.3.
N
Install wiring harness on engine, @ 8.3.
N
Push the sleeve (13) onto the throttle cable (12).
N
Push the sleeve (13) into the retainer.
N
Install the control handle, @ 15.3.
N
