Testing Carburetor for Leaks

Remove the carburetor, @ 8.2.
N
Open the tank cap and close it again.
N
Pressure is equalized.
Pull hose off carburetor's fuel stub (10).
N

Push the 135mm hose 1110 141 8600 (46) onto the
N
carburetor's fuel stub (10).
Fit nipple 0000 855 9201 (45) in the 135mm
N
hose 1110 141 8600 (46).
Connect hose from pump 0000 850 1300 (43) to
N
nipple 0000 855 9201 (45).
Push ring (44) of pump 0000 850 1300 (43) in
N
direction of pump's handle (over-pressure).
Operate the pump 0000 850 1300 (43) until pressure
N
of 0.8 bar (11.6 psi) is indicated.
If the indicated pressure remains constant, the carburetor
is airtight.
