Installing the Fuel Pump

Push the fuel pump (5) into the filter housing (9) so

that it snaps into place.
Push the fuel hose (12) onto long connector on fuel
N
pump (5).
Install the filter housing and carburetor, @ 8.3.

Removing the Baffle

Preparations, @ 3.1.
N
Remove filter housing and carburetor, @ 8.2.
N
Take out the screw (1).
N
Remove the baffle (10).
N

Installing the Baffle

Position the baffle (10) against the filter housing.

Insert the screw (1) but do not tighten it down yet.
N
The following tightening sequence of screws (1) and (2)
must be observed to make sure the baffle (10) is properly
sealed after installation and the carburetor (7) is correctly
fitted, @ 8.3.
Install the filter housing and carburetor, @ 8.3.
