Nipple – 0000 855 9201
Screwdriver – 0000 890 2300 or equivalent
Socket, T27x125 – 0812 542 2104 or equivalent
Screw from flange – 5910 850 4200
Torque wrench – 5910 890 0302 or equivalent
Screwdriver, T27x200 – 5910 890 2415 or equivalent
Hook – 5901 893 8800
STIHL OH 723 press fluid – 0781 957 9000

Removing Pickup Body from Fuel Tank

Preparations, @ 3.1.
N
Open the tank cap (9).
N
Use hook 5910 893 8800 to remove the pickup
N
body (8) from the fuel tank (7).
Pull the pickup body (8) off the fuel hose.
N

Installing Pickup Body in Fuel Tank

Push the pickup body (8) into the fuel hose.
N
Push the pickup body (8) into the fuel tank (7) and
N
position it at the lowest point in the tank.
Close the tank cap (9).

Testing the Tank Vent

Preparations, @ 3.1.
N
Remove the filter cover, @ 7.2.
N
Remove the rewind starter, @ 6.2.
N
Remove the shroud, @ 7.4.
N
Remove filter housing and carburetor, @ 8.2.
N

Pull the fuel hoses (15 and 16) off the carburetor.
N
Use screw (17) from flange 5910 850 4200 to seal the
N
fuel hose (16).
Push the nipple 0000 855 9201 (18) into the fuel
N
hose (15).
Connect hose (19) of pump 0000 850 1300 (21) to
N
nipple 0000 855 9201 (18).
Vacuum Test
