Socket, T20x125 – 0812 542 2041 or equivalent
Socket, T27x125 – 0812 542 2104 or equivalent
Torque wrench – 5910 890 0302 or equivalent
Screwdriver, T20 – 5910 890 2301
Screwdriver, T27x200 – 5910 890 2415 or equivalent
Punch-down tool – 5910 890 4000
Flat nose side cutting pliers
STIHL OH 723 press fluid – 0781 957 9000

Removing the Airflow Shroud

Preparations, @ 3.1.
N
Remove the filter cover, @ 7.2.
N
Remove the rewind starter, @ 6.2.
N
Remove the shroud, @ 6.2.
N
Pull boot off the spark plug.
N
Take ignition lead (14) out of the guides.
N
Pull off the flag connector (9).
N
Take out the screw (7).
N
Remove the cable lug (8).
N
Pull the black and yellow wires of wiring harness (6)
N
out of guides.
Take wiring harness (6) out of the guides.
N
Take out the screw (11).
N
BR 800

Remove the diagnostic socket (12) together with

wiring harness (6).
Take out the screw (13).
N
Remove the airflow shroud (10).
N

Installing the Airflow Shroud

Place the airflow shroud (10) in position and check
N
the following points:
Ignition lead (14) is outside airflow shroud (10).
Recess in airflow shroud (10) fits in groove (arrow) in
manifold (3).
Recess in airflow shroud (10) fits over impulse hose
(5) below flange (arrow).
Insert and tighten down the screw (13).
