- This software provides the main interface with the system's controls.
Host
Used primarily by the OPEX technician (or qualified personnel), the Host
software is used to select and run jobs, remove/insert iBOTs, run diagnostic
tests, and view statistical reports on the Perfect Pick.
- Automated cars used to deliver totes to the operator station for picking
iBOT
or replenishing items.
- A safety device that shuts the system down when tripped.The E-
Interlock
Stops are interlocks. Interlocks are also on the front and rear doors.
- This enclosure houses the main I/O board. This is the go
I/O enclosure
between for the system to talk to our host PC and the customer's system. It is
the source of the triggering, and pacing of the objects or packages.
- A problem with the system, typically (but not always) caused by a
Jam
blockage.
- A collection of the settings and methods the system will use to process
Job
items in a similar fashion from run to run. In many cases, you will only see one
job, which should be set up ahead of time, either by an OPEX technician or
your site supervisor or IT department.
- This is a safety device. When you are servicing the machine,
Lock out tag out
you turn it off. The Lock out Tag out switch is on the front of the AC enclosure.
When you are going to service the machine, you should put a lock on this
device to ensure that no one will turn the machine on while you are servicing it.
- Person who creates operators and has access to most of the
Manager
machine's controls and features.
- The person running the machine. Operators have very limited
Operator
access to system controls and settings.
- The Barcode system tunnel that reads the barcodes on the
OPEX scan tunnel
containers or boxes.
- Used to provide feedback as to the location of an item in the
Path sensor
system.
- The Host PC is the main computer used in the system.
PC Host
- The operational state that produces outputs allowing the system to

operate in what may be considered normal operation.
