    2.1. Introduction The information provided in this chapter is intended to educate you on various safety issues regarding the operation and maintenance of the OPEX Model 306 described in this manual. This chapter provides an explanation of the safety conventions used throughout this manual, as well as safety guidelines to be observed when working with this equipment.
  • Page 15 - Use of this equipment is limited to its intended function of opening and counting mail. Do not modify the design or configuration of the equipment without consulting OPEX or your authorized representative. Machine Maintenance - Model 306 maintenance, particular operations, and all adjustments, whether mechanical or electrical, shall be carried out by persons authorized to do so in accordance with a safe system of work.
