5.2. Workstation interruptions

5.2.1. Interrupted zone - stage sensor blocked

The workstation light tower will show the conveyor is stopped with the red state
lit (Figure 5-4).
The best way to handle an interrupted zone with all green occupied zones, is to
make sure the containers in and around the interrupted zone are squarely
seated and centered in the zones.
In Figure 5-4, Zone 17 is interrupted. First inspect zone 17 and make sure the
container is not skewed or blocking zone 19 or 15. In addition, also check
zones 19 and 15 for skew. If a skewed or misplaced container is found, slide
(do not pick up) the container to center it in the zone. Once centered, press the
Start button on the OPEX workstation or conveyor. The light tower will change
to a green state, and all interruptions will be removed from the conveyor view in
the monitor.
