Connecting a CE Tool to the GSP Using the Customer LAN
body of the manual.
This procedure, which assumes that you are using a laptop running Reflection 1 with a crossover cable,
allows you to display multiple windows to communicate by connecting to the customer's hub with a
regular ethernet LAN cable. The disadvantage to this method is that unless you are on the same subnet as
the customer, you have to reconfigure your laptop, and reconfigure it again after you have completed the
installation.
To connect to the GSP using the customer LAN and a laptop:
NOTE
To make this connection you need a LAN crossover cable (HP Part Number M3199-60102M).
Step 1. Connect one end of the LAN cable to the Customer LAN port on the GSP.
