Leakproof test on gas pipes acc. to DVGW-TRGI 2008
worksheet G600
The leakproof test (using air or inert gas, e.g. CO2 or N2) is
used for acceptance testing of newly routed or remedied
pipes. The test is performed at the pipe, including the
fittings, without gas installations and corresponding control
and safety equipment. For this test the line must be
pressurized with 150 mbar, whereby this pressure must
remain constant for 10 minutes.
