3.1 Ambient conditions

WARNING!
Only return the metering pump for repair in a cleaned
state and with a flushed liquid end - refer to the chapter
"Decommissioning"!
Only return metering pumps with a completed Decon‐
tamination Declaration form. The Decontamination Dec‐
laration constitutes an integral part of an inspection /
repair order. A unit can only be inspected or repaired
when a Declaration of Decontamination Form is sub‐
mitted that has been completed correctly and in full by
an authorised and qualified person on behalf of the
pump operator.

CAUTION!
Use lifting points with suitable lifting means.
Secure the pump to prevent it from falling.
CAUTION!
Danger of environmental and material damage
Oil can escape by improper storage or transportation.
Only transport the unit with the sealing screw , and not
the vent screw, fitted to the oil filler neck.
1.
Fit the caps to the valves.
2.
Check whether the sealing screw is fitted to the oil filler neck.
3.
Position the pump vertically on a pallet and secure it from toppling
over.
4.
Cover the pump with a tarpaulin, allowing for rear ventilation.
5.
Store the pump in a dry and closed room.
