7.6 Replacing the safety relief valve

Leaks are possible
Leaks can occur on the pump connection depending on
the insert used.
The pump is supplied with PTFE moulded compo‐
–
site seals with a flare, which are used for the pump
connectors, and which seal the connectors between
the grooved pump valves and the grooved inserts -
P_SI_0021 see .
– However, use an elastomer flat seal in the event that
a smooth insert is used (e.g. third party part), .

WARNING!
The safety relief valve is a safety-relevant component
and should only be fully replaced if necessary.
1. Remove the old safety relief valve.
2. Pay attention to the position of the new O-ring. Fix the O-ring in
place with a little grease if necessary.
3. Screw in the new safety relief valve (tightening torque - 15 Nm).
4. Mark the collar of the safety relief valve with sealing paint.
