Decommissioning and disposal
CAUTION!
Environmental hazard due to hydraulic oil
The pump contains hydraulic oil, which can cause
damage to the environment.
– Drain the hydraulic oil out of the pump.
– Note the local regulations applicable in your country.
CAUTION!
Danger from compression springs
– Carefully loosen the spring behind the diaphragm
mounting plate - refer to the "Maintenance" chapter.
– Do not dismantle the hydraulic cover (2) upstream of
the diaphragm mounting plate (liquid end). There is
a very strong spring (1) upstream of the hydraulic
cover.
