The Vacuum Pump Guide can be found on the Micromeritics web page
(www.Micromeritics.com).
Do not connect the equipment to the power source until the proper voltage selection
has been made. Doing so could result in electrical shock and/or damage the
assembly.
Appropriate vacuum pumps are available from Micromeritics.
An oil-based or oil-free vacuum pump can be used with the analyzer.

An external vacuum pump equipped with an anti-suckback valve is required for sample ana-

lysis. Any vacuum source achieving vacuums better than 20 × 10
may be used.
A device to reduce oil vapor backstreaming is recommended.

The vacuum pump must have an anti-suckback valve to prevent oil from being admit-
ted to the analyzer should the power fail while the system is under vacuum.
