Observe the end face of the optical fiber through the fiberscope. Turn the
adjustment screw ring clockwise from the position set in Step 9 according to
Table 8-2 per fiber size. Note: Only the branch mirror's rear reflection beam
moves to the left.
11.
Tighten the lens tightening screw on the input focusing unit.

CAUTION: If the branch mirror holder is moved, readjust it so
that the reflection from the branch mirror enters the center of the
lens on the input focusing unit at an input angle of 0
CAUTION: The input focusing end surface of the fiber may be
burned if the guide beam does not match the YAG laser beam axis
and the YAG beam enters the fiber off center.
X - Y Axes Adjustment. To adjust the X and Y axes:

Refer to Figure 8-8. Loosen the lock nut on the X - Y axes adjustment screw on
the input focusing unit.
