10. Pass the new flash lamp through the flow tube. CAUTION: Do not touch the glass parts
of the flash lamp and flow tube.
11. Note the polarity of the old flash lamp. Hold both ends of the new lamp, with the new
flash lamp in the same direction as the old flash lamp, and set the new flash lamp into the
laser chamber. Be sure that the flow tube is properly seated in its groove.
12. Connect the flash lamp wires to the flash lamp holder and tighten the four M5 bolts.
13. Carefully re-install the mirror cylinder and laser chamber top cover. CAUTION: Be sure
that the top cover bolts are tightened securely and that the O-rings are compressed evenly
between the top cover and the laser chamber.
14. Set the maintenance mode with the laser cover interlock switch (see Figure 8-1). Confirm
that the LED indicator lights.
15. Turn on YAG laser power.
