Pins No. 41- 44, Beam Selection: When the COM-beam selection circuit is closed,
the laser beam can be output from the open beam shutter (beam shutter 1 through 4).
Input Signal Specifications, EXT. I/O Connector (2). Refer to Figures 3-2 and
3-4. The input signal specifications are as follows:
Pin 11: +24 volt output.
Pin 12: +12 to 30 volt input. Pins 11 and 12 are shorted only for contact signals
Figure 3-2). When used for transistor inputs (Figure 3-4) and a 12 -30 Vdc power
supply is available at the external input device side (a PLC, for example), connect the
positive line of the external power supply to this pin. Connect the negative line of the
power supply to pin 18 (COM).
Pins 13 and 14, Beam selection 5 and 5: When the COM-beam selection line is
closed, the laser beam can be output from the laser input unit having the
corresponding number (5 or 6).
Pin 18, COM: Used as the common line for the input signals and dc ground.
Remote Interlock Connector. If this signal circuit is opened, the main shutter will close
and the laser will go into the pause mode. It will remain in the pause mode until the remote
interlock circuit is closed. Note: Pins 1 and 2 are shorted at the factory.
Use the remote interlock to prevent accidental exposure of
personnel to laser radiation. Connect it in series with main,
room, or door interlock switch (es).

CAUTION
Output when the laser can be started (open collector).

within the preset range
Closes when the energy monitor detects that the laser energy has
