Brightness Adjustment: Use this screwdriver adjustment to adjust the brightness of the
display.

Display: Various operational and diagnostic data are displayed on this screen.

Control Pendant Power Connector: Connects the control pendant to the laser power
supply via the control pendant power cable.

LASER START/STOP Key: Press this key once while the High Voltage is applied
(HIGH VOLTAGE status indicator ON) and the laser beam is output. Press this key a
second time to turn off the laser. Note: The control changeover signal at pin 30 of the
EXT I/O (1) connector is turned off. (see Chapter 3).

TROUBLE RESET Key. When trouble (an error) occurs, correct the trouble and press
this key to reset the laser.

CURSOR Keys: Use these keys to move the display cursor up, down, right and left.
The item selected will be highlighted by the cursor.

ON+/OFF- Key: Use this key to raise or lower the value of a selected item, or to
change the ON/OFF condition of a particular function.
If you press the ON+ side when a value is set, the value will increase. Conversely, the
value will decrease if you press the OFF- side. After you select a function, the function
is turned on when you press the ON+ side. Conversely, the function will turn off when
you press the OFF- side.

MENU Key: Press this key to change the menus on the control pendant display screen.

ENTER Key: Use this key to set data and ON/OFF function in the control pendant. The
control pendant will not recognize any changed data or function unless this key is
pressed following the keyed-in change.

EMERGENCY STOP Button: Press this button in an emergency to stop operation of
the LW250 Laser. It is a parallel function to the EMERGENCY STOP switch on the
control console and the power supply chassis.
