Internal Controls and Indicators (continued)
Power Cable Terminals: Note: These terminals are located behind the power terminal
cover. Connect 200 Vac or 230 Vac, 3-phase input power to them as shown by the
power cable wire colors.
Main Power Panel: These controls are described under External Controls and
Indicators previously in this chapter.
RS-422 (1) Connector: Used for interfacing with an external control system using RS-
422 data protocol.
RS-422 (2) Connector: This optional connector has the same function as the RS-422 (1)
connector.
Remote Interlock Connector: CAUTION: Connect this connector in series with a room
door (or similar) interlock to avoid accidental exposure to laser beam radiation. Refer
to Chapter 3 for connection details.
EXT I/O (1) Connector: Outputs trouble and monitor diagnostic signals. Inputs start
and schedule selection signals. Refer to Chapter 3 for connection details.
EXT I/O (2) Connector: Outputs the shutter operation signals. Refer to Chapter 3 for
connection details.
Signal Connector: This BND connnector outputs the laser power monitor waveform as
an analog signal.
Cooling Fan Intake Filter: Removes particulate matter from the cooling air.
Power Cable: Supplies 200 Vac or 220 Vac shop power to the LW250 Laser.

Coolant System Components and Controls

Figure 2-4 illustrates the components and controls in the coolant system. The functions are as
follows:
