Replace the power terminal cover.
Never operate the laser without the power terminal cover in place.
Be sure to ground the laser unit properly.

Preparing the Cooling System

Refer to Figure 5-3. Connect the supplied
coupling hose between the cooling water
inlet and outlet fittings with the supplied
bands. Note: Cooling water may be city
water or industrial water with the
following characteristics:
Temperature of 35°C
(94°F) maximum.
Pressure of 98 to 294 kPa
(1 to 3 kgf/cm
Flow rate of 16 liters (4.2
gallons)/minute minimum

Water Supply Replenishment

Note: Any reference to D.I.
(deionized) water in this manual is
understood to include steam-
distilled water. Use of steam-
distilled water is acceptable
because the laser action will
deionize it and control its purity
(electrical resistivity).

lid thumbscrews and remove the
deionized water tank lid.
