TO RECORD A CALL MANUALLY

Here explains the procedure for recording a call
manually. Call recording is started by pressing a
Programmable Feature Key where Call Recording
feature is assigned. This Programmable Feature
Key is called the Record key.
The Record key is assigned at
installation. For details, contact the
system administrator.

Press the Record key before starting a call or
while talking on the terminal. Then, call recording
status icon is displayed on the LCD.
When the Record key is pressed
before starting a call, "Call recording
is in standby" icon is displayed.
When you press the Record key while
the call is being recorded, the call
recording is suspended and the call
recording status changes to standby
mode. To resume the call recording,
press the Record key again.
When the call recording starts, the
recording confirmation tone will be sent
to the target party at an interval of 15
seconds. Please note that this setting
can only be set up in the Administrator
access level.

When the conversation finished by going on-
hook, the call recording is also finished.

TO RECORD A CALL AUTOMATICALLY

When automatic call recording is set, call recording
starts when a user goes off-hook or presses the
Speaker key. Going on-hook or pressing the
Speaker key again ends call recording. In this way,
a whole conversation can be recorded.
The automatic call recording is set at
installation. For details, contact the
system administrator.
The range of recording voice data
depends on the setting of installation.
For details, contact the system
administrator. The followings are the
range of call recording to be set:
- voice call
- voice call and call progressive tone
(tones from a telephone)
