PHONEBOOK

There are two types of Phonebook features: System
Phonebook and Local Phonebook.

System Phonebook

System Phonebook is used on a system basis. Up
to 12000/60000 entries are available per system.
The data entry is made by the system administrator.
Up to 32 digits can be registered for each dial
number. Up to 24 characters can be registered for
each name.
To make the maximum number of
Phonebook entries as 60000, SV9500
FP95-112 V2 or later is required. For
details, please contact the system
administrator.
Local Phonebook
Local Phonebook is used on a station basis. Up to
100 entries are available per station. You can make
entries with key operation from the telephone. Up to
32 digits can be registered for each dial number. Up
to 24 characters can be registered for each name.
When the system administrator
invalidates the Phonebook, this feature
cannot be used. For details contact the
system administrator.
SYSTEM PHONEBOOK
TO SEARCH AND MAKE A CALL
1.
Press P.Book while station is idle state.
If Local Phonebook is enabled by the setting
on the system side, go to STEP2.
If Local Phonebook is disabled by the setting
on the system side, go to STEP 3.

Display the
Directory
.
If Local Phonebook is enabled by the setting
on the system side, go to STEP 2. If Local
Phonebook is disabled, the display changes
as follows. In that case, select
System
and go to STEP 3

Press Sys.
screen, and select

Enter a name and press Enter key or the OK key
to perform a search.
Ex. To enter "NEC":
Press "6" twice to enter "N".
Press "3" twice to enter "E".
Press "2" three times to enter "C".
If ">>>" is pressed on the above
screen, the following soft keys appear.
Pressing Up/Down cursor key or Eu-
s/Eu-l shifts characters between
uppercase and lowercase.
To delete an entered character, press
left key or "Clr".
To move the cursor one space to the
right, press right key or "→" once.

A result of the search is displayed. Press up/down
cursor key or UP/DOWN soft key to scroll the
result.

The registered Phonebook data for "NEC BNET"
appears. From this screen, you can make a call by
going off-hook or pressing Speaker.
More appears in Phonebook data
screen when the number of characters
(name) or digits (telephone number)
are exceeding displayable limit (Up to
17 characters or digits can be
displayed at a time). If the name or
telephone number exceeds the
displayable limit, press left key or More
to display the last 17 characters/digits
of the name/telephone number.

Number: 01234567890123456789 ←
