munications software documentation carefully.

This chapter covers general troubleshooting, ISDN line connections,
and problems with ML-PPP and voice.

General Troubleshooting
The software can' t find the ISDN TA and the ISDN TA does not re-
spond to AT commands.
Application reports " I nitialization error."
The ISDN TA takes too long to hang up.
You receive an ERROR response.
The ISDN TA does not auto-answer.
You encounter other communications problems.
ISDN Line Connections
Calls do not complete.
ISDN TA will not make calls.
ISDN TA will not receive calls.
Calls do not connect.
Some calls connect but not other calls.
ML-PPP Connections
ISDN TA will not make an ML-PPP connection.
Voice Connections
A voice call connects but there is no sound in the handset.
General Troubleshooting
The software can't find the ISDN TA and the ISDN TA does not
respond to AT commands. (The following comments apply to many
other problems as well.)
