Name the connection, for example, ISDN Connection to Inter-
net.

Click Next.

Fill in the Server box according to your needs. Click Next.

Enter the phone number.
For ML-PPP: Since ML-PPP uses two phone numbers to set up
connections on both B-channels enter the two phone numbers
separated by an ampersand &. For example, if your provider's
two phone numbers are 555-1234 and 555-2345, you would en-
ter:
Note that if both numbers are the same you need to enter the
same number twice:
Note also that if you must make a long distance call for your
connection, both numbers must include the 1 prefix and if the
first number requires an area code, so will the second. For ex-
ample:

Click Next, then Finish.

Back in the Dial-Up Networking box click More and select Edit
entry and modem properties from the menu.

Under the Basic tab in the Edit Phonebook Entry box select the
device that most closely matches the type of device and model
you are installing (for example, ISDN TA Internal) and click
Configure.
10.
Under Initial speed select 115,200 from the list box. Click OK.
11.
In the Server tab under Dial-up server type select the appropri-
ate type. For most ISPs this will be PPP: Windows 95, Win-
dows NT 3.5, Internet. Check with your provider to be sure.
12.
Under Network Protocols click the appropriate check box. For
most ISPs this will be TCP/IP. Check with your provider to be
sure.
13.
Click TCP/IP Settings.
