You must use a Windows PPP socket program. For example, if you are
using Trumpet Winsock, you need to follow these steps:
1.
Choose Setup from the File menu.
2.
Follow your ISP's instructions for filling in the IP Address,
Netmask, Name Server, and Domain Suffix.
Note: You may need more detail from your ISP since there could be
parameters other than those discussed here.
3.
For Slip Port use the number of your COM port that you wrote
down when installing the ISDN TA.
4.
Set the baud rate to 115,200 (you can override this with the
%Bn command).
5.
Check the Hardware Handshake box.
6.
For any remaining selections follow your ISP's instructions. In
most cases the default settings are appropriate.
7.
Close the Setup dialog box.
8.
Choose PPP Options from the File menu.
9.
Follow your ISP's instructions for Password Authentication
Protocol (PAP).
10.
Enter User Name and Password.
Follow your ISP's instructions for where to enter the initializa-
tion commands for your ISDN TA device.
For PPP connections use the following initialization:

You will need to enter your provider's phone number as well.
12.
If the software has a selection for tone or pulse dialing, select
tone dialing.
13.
If there is a way to enter a reset string for your ISDN TA in the
software, enter
