Answer
INIT = initialization string
Note 1:
If you have only one DN and want both data and voice,
you can use the AT command !C4=2 to allow use of one
DN for both data and voice. The default for data on DN1
is !C4=0 and the default for voice on DN2 is !C5=1.
Note 2:
The *P1=1 and *P2=1 commands (to indicate a call ap-
pearance) are necessary with some types of switches, in-
cluding AT&T switches. Call appearance allows multiple
incoming calls for each DN. If you are having difficulty
making a voice connection over ISDN, try adding these
commands to the INIT string.

Answer
INIT = initialization string
The AT commands in the above matrix are used for connecting to an
ISDN device, such as a remote server, an online service, corporate
LAN, or PC.
Note 1:
If your ISDN service provides 56 Kbps rather than 64
Kbps per B channel, you must add %A4=1 to the above
initialization strings. The default setting of %A4=0 con-
figures the device for operation with lines that provide 64
Kbps per channel.
Note 2:
The connection may use V.110, V.120, X.75, ML-PPP
(Multilink Point-to-Point Protocol) or PPP (Point-to-
Point). ML-PPP provides the highest speeds (128 or 112
Kbps) but generally at a higher cost. PPP is less expen-
sive but with a slower speed of 64 or 56 Kbps. V.110 is
