Secure the machine against unintended roll-

Do not step on rotating parts when climbing onto
the machine. These could rotate and you could
be seriously injured by falling down.
Crop protection agent and
liquid fertiliser
Improper handling of crop protection agents and
liquid fertiliser may cause poisoning and death.
Follow the specifications and instructions in
¾
the safety data sheet of the crop protection
agent manufacturer. If necessary, ask the
dealer for the safety data sheet or safety
notes.
Determine and provide the personal protective
¾
outfit as specified by the manufacturer of the
crop protection agent.
Carry all relevant information about the crop
¾
protection agents used (safety data sheets,
instructions for use, etc.) along.
Crop protection agent must not be transported
¾
in the vehicle cab. They must be stored safely
in the transport container and secured again
toppling over.
The water quality (the water hardness and
¾
mineral content in particular) influences the
property of some fertilisers and crop protec-
tion agents. Precipitation and deflocculation
may cause deposits in filters.
Example: Extremely hard water reacts with
sulphate-bearing fertiliser to form calcium
sulphate (gypsum) and causes white deposits
in the filters.
Pay attention to the conditions of use and
the combination possibilities given by the
corresponding manufacturers to avoid such
problems!
Observe the data on compatibility of crop pro-

tection agents with materials of the machine!
Do not illuviate any crop protection agents that
¾
have a tendency to sticking or solidification!
Wear suitable protective clothing when han-
¾
dling crop protection agents.
Do not eat, drink or smoke while handling crop
¾
protection agents!
Keep the machine and crop protection agent
¾
out of the reach of children!
Always ensure a sufficient water supply in the
¾
machine to be able to wash off crop protection
agent in events of emergency.
In case of physical contact with crop protection
¾
agents you may need to consult a physician.
Thoroughly clean hands and face after the
¾
end of work.
Extended exposure time to crop protection
¾
agents may cause damages to components
of the machine. Follow the notes of the crop
protection agent manufacturers.
The application notes of the crop protection
¾
agent manufacturers must be observed when
mixing different crop protection agents.
